”ペイント・ザ・シー”キッズアートワークショップを開催しました！

2019年9月15日(日)に海の駅の赤かぼちゃ広場にて“ペイント・ザ・シー”キッズアートワークショップが開催されました！

直島の若いアーティストたちは手や足を使って、ダイナミックに「海の生き物」や子どもたちの思う「直島」を描きました！全部で4枚の大きな作品が完成！！

地域おこし協力隊の活動として、アートの島で知られている直島だからこそアートと触れ合う機会をもっと作り、それを直島の魅力として発信していきたいという思いからこのワークショップを企画しました。

Naoshima Town hosted the inaugural Paint the Sea event at Miyanoura Port on Sunday, September 15. Braving the summer heat, the island’s young artists used their hands, feet, and buckets of paint to illustrate their vision of the surrounding seascape and landscape, complete with underwater creatures and Naoshima landmarks. The resulting four large paintings will be displayed in the lobby of the Naoshima Town Office (next to Naoshima Hall) in Honmura from September 24 to October 1.
