リユース施設「かえるとイルカ」を取材してきました！

宮ノ浦に出来たリユース施設「かえるとイルカ」に地域おこし協力隊の二人で行ってみました！実際に利用して、その流れをお伝えしていこうと思います！

まずは、この「かえるとイルカ」について、どんな施設かというと、、直島町内の使われてない日用品（食器類、衣類、本など）を受入れ、施設内にて展示し、気に入ったものがあれば、その場で持ち帰れるというとってもエコな施設です。

さて、今回は平松隊員がお家で眠っていた調理器具を持っていきました！簡単な書類に記入して受け入れ完了！実はこの調理器具、受け入れられてから、ものの１０分ほどで新しい持ち主のもとへ旅立っていきました。

色々なリユース品がありますが、なかでも人気なのはお鍋類やレトロなかわいい空き缶。見てて楽しくなるくらい本当にいろんな種類の食器があるんです～！地域おこし協力隊の二人が気になったのは、、有田焼の青のラインがレトロでかわいいコーヒーカップと便利なキッチン用品のゆでたまごスライサー。ちなみに本橋隊員はこのコーヒーカップたちをお持ち帰りしました。大切に使わせていただきます！

気に入ったものがあったら、こちらも受け入れ時の書類と同様、簡単な書類に記入するだけです。身分証明などは必要ないのでご安心を！

町民だけでなく、島外の方や、もちろん観光客の方もご利用可能です♪（お持ち帰りのみ）

お家で使わなくなったものがあれば、ぜひ「かえるとイルカ」で受け入れてもらうのはいかがでしょうか？

場所：宮浦港を出てからすぐ目の前にあるT.V.C.直島レンタルサービス宮浦店の左脇道を入ってすぐ右手にあります。

Kaeru to Iruka, a reuse center in Miyanoura, has recently opened. It’s located near Naoshima’s main port and is easy to access.

Kaeru to Iruka means “frogs and dolphins” in Japanese. This facility is a part of a project by Eco Island Naoshima Plan, a local community group. It is open to the public, so visitors are welcome, too. All the products in the center are donated by locals, including kitchenware, tableware, clothes, shoes, records, books and more, all of which are nicely displayed.

If you find something you like, just fill out a simple form and you can take it home. It doesn’t cost you anything because they trade without money, but products are limited to one per person.

“Retro products are very popular,” one staff member told us. We took a while to look though all the products because there are a lot of things to see and It’s fun explore. We finally chose a beautiful, vintage coffee cup-and-saucer set and an egg slicer. True enough, we chose retro products.
